The rental is also possible with the VRS chip card. For this purpose, it must be linked to your customer account once beforehand. Learn more<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n\n

REGISTRATION<\/h3>\n

Registration is free of charge. In order to verify your account, a \u20ac1 deposit is required and will become rental credit to use later on.<\/p>\n

RENTAL<\/h3>\n

Simply scan the QR Code on the bike with the nextbike app or tap your VRS chip card at the rear of the bike and the FrameLock will automatically open.<\/p>\n

PAUSE RIDE<\/h3>\n

Pause your ride without ending the rental. Simply pause your ride in the app and close the lock. The rental stays active during the pause and will be charged as usual.<\/p>\n

RETURN<\/h3>\n

Close the frame lock. The return is automatically recorded. In non-coloured streets \/ zones and at stations, the return is free of charge. In the yellow zone, the return is possible with a \u20ac1 surcharge. Our tariffs<\/h2>

You can rent up to four bikes with one customer account. However, subscriptions and special conditions typically apply to the first bike only. The monthly subscription is valid throughout Germany (except for Oldenburg, Bremen, Mainz, Konstanz, Usedom and Nuremberg). You can change the tariff in your app Wallet.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>
